With just a few clicks of the mouse in the EVOX Admin center, you can set up unique company greetings for different time periods. In addition to a main greeting that answers calls during working hours, greetings can be customized for lunch breaks and outside office hours.



When the administrator turns on the Noon Time or After Work greeting function(s), callers that call during the specified noon time or after work hours will hear the appropriate greeting and be given the option to leave a voicemail. In addition, the EVOX system will send an email with the contents of the voicemail to the specified email address.

 

In emergency situations, such as a typhoon or earthquake, the administrator can log into the online admin center from any browser and create a special greeting alerting callers to the situation. This feature is also useful when front desk personnel need to take time off, or when the company is going to be unexpectedly closed.

 

EVOX’s versatile Auto-attendant system has a Second Greeting setting that is played after the caller dials the specified code on the main menu. This feature is ideal for companies which need to offer menu options in a second language. For example, a caller could hear, “Press 2 for Spanish.” A caller who pressed 2 would be directed to a Second Greeting created in Spanish, allowing them to select their desired keypress options in their native language.
